Anyway, lately I've been chasing tone in my four tweed amp builds:
- a mojotone 5e3 build
- a tweedle dee deluxe build using a PT from an old Magnavox turntable monoblock
- another tweedle dee deluxe build using a Mojotone PT and with a switch to enable a solid state rectifier
- a tweedle dee champ build in a deluxe chassis and cabinet
Attached is an excel file of the voltages I've found with various rectifiers. Noteworthy is that my dee build with the old Magnavox PT needs the GZ34 to get the voltages close to the specimen, whereas the Mojotone PT gets voltages closest using a NOS RCA 5Y3.
A QUESTION: Does anyone know the B+ voltages for the Dumble tweedle dee champ specimen? I can't seem to find them in my search through old posts here.
I'd appreciate more experienced thoughts and experiences with dee voltages....
Best wishes to all,
Andrew
