We started with a Ceriatone JM100 kit because that was the cheapest starting point for me, but this really is not a Ceriatone amp.
We brought the amp back to Two Rock specs, then changed some aspects of the design that my engineer found problematic. For example, changed values of pots or components here or there, use different size/type of wire somewhere, use linear instead of audio taper here, use different cap type here, etc. Then engineered in a few new things like:
-ODS OD circuit, footswitchable. (with trim and tone on back panel.)
-"Boost" via footswitchable attenuation, adjustable via internal pot.
-Tube buffered effects loop with adjustable send and return level.
-Mid pot vs Bass pot short switch (an idea I got from Ryan C's videos on YouTube, but my engineer suggested without seeing the vid)
-Global negative feedback resistance on a pot instead of fixed value.
-Two bias pots to be able to run two different types of output tubes at once.
If anyones interested we're going to draw up a schematic of the amp once it's all completed!
