Cabinet Metal Strip
Where do you guys get that thin polished metal strip that runs under the lip of the front chassis?

I have a ton of them, but they are "time saver" sanded, you'll need to polish it yourself. they are cut to 19 1/8" and have the countersunk mounting holes already in them. Send me a PM if you are interested.

Re: Cabinet Metal Strip
I bought mine a home depot in the hardware department.
Hacksawed to length, drill / countersink, pre-polished with 0000 steel wool and final polish with buffering wheel and red rouge compound. Results in a mirror finish. I did the same thing with my tube shields, looks cool as hell.

Re: Cabinet Metal Strip
Thank you very much for the tips.
Funk also gave me a super cool option.
I'll be sure to check it out the next trip to Home Depot.
