Gainy D'Lite Clip

Post by stelligan »

Had a request from coco for some gainier clips of my D'Lite build. This is all I could think of to play as I don't know a metal song to save my soul. So, excuse the playing. Here's a pic of the guitar and settings too. $99 guitar with new pickups. Gain knob is still only at noon.

I let the recording play at the end so you could hear how low the amp's noise floor is. At the end of clip you can hear the PAB and OD foot switches being pressed - then the standby and power.

Very nice. At times it sounds like it might explode, and that was gain at 2 o'clock...cool. Love the feedback on the edge on the notes.

Thanks for the clips. Better than Chicken Fried Steak!

How loud was that in the room?

thanks coco,
It was definitely gigging over a rock drummer loud. Master was at around noon. This was 2 X 6L6 with the stock Vibrolux type iron from the BrownNote kit. I'm gonna sound like a broken record here but, If you want a rock gigging clean tone - get Bassman like iron for your build. If you are are in the monitors at your gig - it won't matter.
