Pure 64 curve switch!

A new amp company that has a switch called curve on the front. Adjustable slope. Google for their website. Pure 64 amps.

I've put slope trimmers in a few amps and, for me, once I've dialed in the 'best' setting...that's it...I'm done...no more need for the trimmer. I've also done some quick & dirty experiments with a cap before the tonestack (but not in a Dumble-type circuit) and I definitely did not like it with the cap.

I thought the usual reason to use a cap before the stack is to save a few bucks by not having to use high voltage caps. One extra coupling cap vs three in the stack. Cheapskates.
