Clips of a Fuchs TripleDrive Supreme

Post by benoit »

I was going to post this while back but forgot. This is my friend Eric Klotz's trio playing Eric's tunes. I have a few more but the files are high quality so too big, and I don't have time to shrink 'em at the moment. Some of the other tunes use the OD channel a lot more.

Very nice stuff. Eric just has a "wee" bit of Wayne Krantz influence in his style. ;)

Pete, you probably don't have WinRAR to open the archive. I think you can get a demo version (which works forever, just has a nag screen) at winrar.com.

Dogears, Eric teaches guitar in the music department at the university I go to (mnstate.edu) and is known behind his back as Wayne, lil' Wayne, etc.

I did the recording in my studio projects class. The amp sounded really good, but eric wasn't completely happy with it because he had just gotten it a week before (he previously played a 50W bogner extacy) and hadn't had time to really figure it out. The setup is his strat into the amp via Klotz cable :). The cabinet is actually an Ear Candy closed back 2x12, not sure what speaker. He has a massive rack but I think he only used a bit of delay on his eventide for one or two tunes.

LOL.... Wasn't hard to hear his influence. BTW, the track cut off when the solo was starting. Can you post some burnin'?? I'd like to hear his improv.

Btw, you should hear what I am called behind my back!!!

Yeah something weird happened, I'll get all the files up somewhere soon, he does burn a bit on some of the tunes. Cool playing. There are better tunes than that one too. More to come.
