Help needed with Fender 75 OT

Post by ukulele »

Hi,

Does anybody know or remember how to wire fender 75 OT to 8 ohms.
There is a black, green, green/yellow and white wires coming out from OT secondary.

Thanks in advance, Mikael

your ohm meter will tell you - black is ground lowest reading from black is 4 next lowest reading is 8 highest reading is 16, assuming 4/8/16 taps. Same rules apply if its 2/4/8.

Although I would confirm it with an ohm meter as heisthl said, based on other similar Fender transformers
Black=common
White=2ohms
Green/Yellow=4ohms
Green=8ohms

Thanks for your replies.
Will check it when I get back home. I'm converting Fender 75 to 70's style ODS because I only had 100k RN65 resistor.

Any ideas what to do with those ultralinear taps??
