Does Radio Shack still stock the little transformer many (Even Alexander?) use for the relays? A quick look on RS website only has one that 12.6 volts? Didn't they used to stock 6 volts transformers?

Thanks for the heads up Henry! I swung by Radio Shack and picked up one of the transformers yesterday. Also, my transformers showed up already. That is some beefy iron for 50 watt-er.

I fab'd up a quick chassis for my build. Roughly the size of the D'lite chassis, .090" aluminum, CNC routed, spot welded, and will probably get a dollop of structural glue in the corners for added strength.

I went with a stacked "PAB, OD/CLEAN, and BRIGHT" switch layout, and found some "Mountain Switch" toggles with .250" bats that I'm thinking i'll have switch left/right as opposed to up/down.

I also fabbed out some little covers for extra pre-amp tubes.

Thanks for the kind words guys! I also put together a rough layout of my face/back plates. I'm gonna cheap out on these and do some waterslide decals buried under several coats of clear, over some form of silver material, Either polished aluminum, or painted.

Well, She's alive! Fired up first try, The simple switching worked perfect, albeit, opposite of what i wanted.

I let the voltages settle in, and took some measurements, the tube compliment is 2 OLD RCA 12ax7's in V1 and V2, a Sovtek 12ax7wa in V3 (I'm going to order a LPS for that position) and winged =C= for the power tubes.

Thus far, the amp sounds decent, Although my speaker won't show up until Monday, I went with a Red, white, and blues, mostly due to my very limited budget.

I attached a schem, with all of the voltages, and other pertinent info. If anybody has input as to the higher than average voltages, I'm all ears!

I started building the head/speaker cabs on friday. I used my CNC router at work to cut all the finger joints. It took around 15 minutes to cut all the pieces for both cabinets.

I just wanted to express my gratitude for all you the "regulars" on the forum helping out noobies (like me) and pouring out their wealth of knowledge on these forums.

I'll have clips soon I hope. Now onto the pics.

Great job on the face plates. Did you use waterslides?

BTW, a 5 Amp fuse is way too big for a pair of 6L6.

I have an actual Brown Note D'lite, 2x 6L6, that has a 2 Amp fuse.
