Where to begin.

Post by dumbkid »

I hope to buy a 80's chassis from natchanis but I don't know where to start after that. What schematics should I use etc. I am completely and utterly overwhelmed. If someone could guide me it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I would beg Norm to add you to the D-Lite list. Otherwise he has some great layouts in the files section. Good luck.

No need to be overwhelmed! There is a complete project here, named ¨D-Lite¨ by ¨Normster¨, a project with an excellent, very clear layout, all the building instructions, complete BOM, ... whoa, what else could one wish for?! Great sounding amplifier, very smart looking ... to boot!

Indeed, no need to be overwhelmed at all (¨There's no need to get excited, said the joker to the thief, there is so much confusion, I can get no relief¨ ... - ¨All Along The Watchtower¨, Jimi Hendrix version, of course!).

Yep! The DLite would be a great project to do.

Here's one I just finished this afternoon, if you want to see how it looks.
