Decals / Stickers for amp chassis?

Post by goldtele29 »

THis is my first post here so wanted to say hi and had a question.

I needed to replace some of the silkscreened letters on an amp that I just built ( D style) the silkscreening is not straight on a few of the controls on the front of the amp. The amp is built so I cant have it re silkscreened.

Has anyone found a source of good quality decals/stickers etc. that would work?

Thanks for the help for a newbie on this forum!!!

Depends on the brand of chassis.

I think I have a decal set (front/back) left over that fits a CE chassis.

Thanks! I should have been more clear it's a aluminum SSS style chassis so I will need to have them made.

Oh well in that case a faceplate from BNP Lazer or other shops would be able to make thin faceplate.

My local vinyl graphics place can do decals but the set up fee for that runs high even when I try to get them to use any files I have.

Kinko's also makes decals.

Seems that if you are just trying to replace some of the missing silk screened print that you would have a heck of a time matching up the font and the look of the original

I agree with M Fowler, I'd think having a faceplate made up would be the way to go.
