I looked at Marshall Silver Jubilee schematic because Joe Bonamassa likes them. Not a D amp at all, diode clipping OD. But, the post pre-amp tone stack is sort of a mutant skyliner. Here's my take on it.
The mid leg is a100k slope with a .01uf-100k to ground, skyline-esque. But there's a 470pf from the CW of the mid pot to the CW of the treble pot. Hmmm. I guess if the mid pot is all up that acts a little like the mid boost cap on a skyliner. The treble cap is a smallish 220pf.
The bass pot is a tandem A1M. The second half is wired similar to a skyliner bass pot, a few differences. The first half is wired so that the amount of bass going into the rest of the stack can be limited. I've noticed on some stacks that if you really up the mids, then too much bass comes along for the ride, especially BM stacks. Maybe this is meant to allow the mid to function a little more independently.
Anwyway, I'm curious if anybody has ever tried it.

Correct the Jube is not a D-style at all.
Joe uses his Jube and a D-style together to get some of his tones.
The amps blend very well together.
