I'm gonna sound like a shill, but I really love the tone of this amp! It's so much fatter sounding with the custom iron. Don't get me wrong, I still like the results with the Deluxe iron, but yours just has way better harmonic content and those nice chewy mids. Great sounding amp!!! 8)

The "SloppyClean" clip reminds me of some of the Alan Holdsworth stuff on Velvet Darkness.

Love'd it! Very nice playing! Beautiful tones! I especially liked the
semiclean001... Great sound...

To my ears it has a bit more grit and a bit less smooth than fig's clips.
How much bigger is the OT?

BTW all clean tones are amazing to my ears... OD ain't half bad either :D

You sound like a shill 8) What kind of iron is in THIS one compared to yours?I think that it sounds different,Norm, yours is maybe a little more compressed.Fig didn't do a clean clip.I like the clean this does a lot.

I think I might like to be kept in the loop about when Kits are available...the tone between the 2 of them is close enough that I could use a 20-30 watter on the gigs that I am going to eventually start doing again...Very Hip,Normster and Brown Note. :D

The tone between both is much closer than you might think. Greg and Brownnote have very different styles, guitars, and cabs. When BN played both amps in an A/B setting, the only significant difference was the richness of the harmonic content with BN's Heyboers obviously winning out over the cheaper Weber iron.

Thanks for clarifying...sometimes it is difficult to tell but I use a set of Tannoy monitors...I still like the way the DR iron sounds in the clips....call me an uncultured slob(LOL).
