The first clip was an ES335 50th Anni into a 4 12 mesa with G12H30s. Here is the same set up but with a PRS and slightly different settings. In this one, I think you can really hear the lower mids that I have found missing in the clones I have tried. The thing sounds huge in person. Just forgive the sound quality until I can get this cab isolated.

Who received the 1st clone of #183? I thought that you would have received it as you provided the source material but this post leads me to think that someone else did?

What's the best place to look for such NOS parts (resistors, caps, pots)? I've done some searching and haven't found much. Seems like ebay has the majority of the goods, but it also seems easy to get taken if you don't know what you are doing (which I don't!!).

Almost disappointed that it wasn't Politician. Clip was a Bit verby for me but if your happy I suppose kudos should go to Shad for a job well done. Ok, so there's 2 183 clones ?

There is more Brad. Shad had them up for sale for a few days, and I think he sold several. IIR, he offered them with NOS parts at one price, and standard parts at a lower one. Shad can correct me if this is not wrong. The amp sounds unreal! Shad should offer it as a production model IMO.

It has svetlanas I think. Cant make them out by looking in the back. The winged Cs which are the same that the Dumble has in them are on there way here from Shad. They will go in as soon as I get them. Should be here by Weds.

That was my choice. Brad was in a hurry to get his, and I told Shad I had no problem waiting a little longer. I have been playing my jazz guitar acoustically for the last month or so, and am having a blast! Now this thing will probably drag me back into the more "dentist" like music for a while. LOL! Speaking of which, thats why I was banned from TGP for all who ask. I posted a Dumble style clip and someone wrote "Are you a dentist"? I responded...."Why yes I am! Bend over and I will fill your cavity for you!" HAHAHA!!! BOOM!!! 5 minutes later I get an email saying I am banned for life. No sense of humor over there I tell you!

That last clip sounds REALLY good. Less highs and more mids to my ears. MUCH closer!!!!! Pretty much bang on actually. Love the girth!!! Less fizzy as well. Did you change the tubes to the Winged "C" or is that clip still with the stock Svetalana's?
