Trial fitting the dovetails. I made this in white ash. Tails are cut on a router table. Pins are outlined on a table saw, hogged on the bandsaw and hand chiseled to the line. Ash is the undiscovered American hardwood...most of the working qualities of oak, lighter and dirt cheap. The downside is that it doesn't smell very good when machined. sh
