Re: New government regulations?

This would not surprise me at all if a new regulation like this goes into effect. When I worked at Siemens, we were always being confronted with UL, CUL, CE, and a host of other ever changing regulations that made little sense most of the time. The problem with the regs is the way they right them. It's never in a right/wrong terminology. Instead, there is always enough wiggle room for some inspector to make a "judgment" call based on what they think they know. More than once, I proved a UL rep wrong, yet because they were the governing body, they did not allow me to sticker the product. But for a fee, you could have a variance granted. What a bunch of BS. It just keeps getting harder!
