Oh man, that's great Mat. I hear the distinct sound of the surf in there with a Dumble flavor. Most delicious. I hope you don't take it as an insult, (Surf music has fallen into disfavor around here), but there's an article in this month's Vintage Guitar on the Surf/Race guitar styles of the 60's including Dick Dale, Jerry Cole and others. Beach Boys, Belairs, Knights, Super Stocks. All with a heavy dose of reverb and a Fender twang. I really like what you're doing in this clip. It seems to me that wonderful Carlton richness up high on the neck is really coming through. I hope my build comes out that way.
Keep it up!

Seek immediate medical attention if you suddenly go either deaf or blind.
If you put the Federal Government in charge of the Sahara Desert, in five years time there would be a shortage of sand.

Thanks Dan for Your kind words
I like my hybridA very much, but one thing I would like to improve is the low note muddiness. Normster swapped his nonHRM into HRM and reported positive progression. When I have finished my Express, I'll get back to HRM hoping to get more tight lows. You can hear on the start of the clip that the low strings are guite messy. I started with middle position with my 2x humbucker guitar and volume slightly dialed down. The changed to bridge PU with full volume and on about 1'40 I kicked the boost on..
