124 has the Skyline stack. Midpot is 250Ka and Bass is 500Ka

OD2 plate is 110k, no?

Midboost cap is .002 and not .0022 I don't believe the treble cap is visable at the front switch. How did you arrive at 300pf?? Deep switch is the midboost switch. Probably should be labeled as such.

220k into 500k trimmer is wrong. The actual trim measured 345k. Fwiw, both Gil and I tried this setup and we both preferred 220k into 100k trimmer. I have a couple of similar late 80s grail specimans either degooped or measured and they had 220k into 100k. At least put a 250k trimmer in the schematic as that is WAY closer to what 124 had.

This all in addition to the aforementioned mistakes.

Build 124 at your own risk. In deference to Gil, I'll add that Billy Yates had opportunity to comapre a new Fuchs SLX to 124 and his email indicated that the Fuchs was the better sounding amp. Just sayin' as that wierd pre OD network sounded bad when I tried it.

Thanks again everyone. I'll make these changes and post a new drawing sometime this weekend (and revise the info on the spreadsheet). I'll be sure to post it without the # in the name, so everyone can download it OK.

jaysg - when you go to the pic page, the second page that comes up shows only "ods_amp". Left click over this, and you will be sent to the pic page,...they are all there.

dogears - thanks again for all your insight. The 300pf value I got from the circuit drawing 3. It shows 300 (?,... it isn't clear), but appears identical to the 300 (?) shown for the Bright switch. I guessed they are the same, and for the bright switch I figured 300 could only be picofarad.
Gil seemed very high on the sound of this amp, but we all look for something different. This schematic was just a challenge, and I know we all love to have a VERIFIED design.
My favorite Dumble sounds are Robben Ford's Blue Line and Tiger Walk albums, so maybe I should be talking '90s design. Robert's (KC) amp is dead on for me. Unbelievable sustain at low volume, and a clarity to the OD. I know he tweeked his amp a lot, using ideas from you and other on this site. Unfortunately I have extreme hearing loss, so minute tweeks are under the radar for me. Therefore, I'm like a number of other members who want a complete schematic to build to (other than the switching, etc - I have enough experience to build these and they aren't hearing related..)

Semi hijack...sorry.

You and me both DEH. The thing about hf hearing loss, my audiologist tells me, is that it's at low volumes only. By the time you get to a reasonable volume we hear like normal folks do at low volumes. The problem here is obviously to get it loud enough to hear without causing further damage. An extremely ticklish job. For all you young and dumb pups out there; HEARING PROTECTION!!!

How funny is it that I have the exact Fender transformer set and figured I clone 0124 just for $hits n giggles....lol. Maybe I shouldn't bother... :)

BTW: That schematic is missing the power amp feedback resistor...just sayin'

Those are very different sounds! be aware that Robben owns 2 different amps one '80s non HRM and one '90s HRM. Anyway wiith #0124 you should get very close to the former sound.
