Finally got to open er up at a gig. warning clip attached..

Post by Tonegeek »

Clip is ripped from a hand held video camera. Amp is BM 50 watter, G12-65 X2, delay only in the loop. Mex Strat bridge pup for input. Mild pre amp boost, but no mid boost.

This band was thrown together from employees for a company meeting. We had 2 hours of rehearsal but this clip is us just noodling around while the attendees are being seated. The drummer and keyboardist had never played in a band until yesterday. We walked all over each other and mix sux. But I digress. I am posting because I got this unexpected response out of my amp and I am digging the shit out of it. It was one of those situations where your playing adapts to the sound coming from the amp. It just made me want to play Allman bros/Butch Trucks type blues for hours.

Sounds Awful!!!

Actually, the audio is awful but there is clearly some cool stuff going on with your amp. That part sounds great!

Those are great horn sounds from a guitar. Killer!

We are a noisy bunch (the crowd)! Also I swear the guitar wasn't this dominant at soundcheck
