How to mount the bangkok chassis

Post by jackson649 »

I just got my bangkok chassis a couple days ago and am making plan for a head cab.

I've never built a cab before, so could someone tell me how you are suppose to mount the chassis if there isn't any holes to mount it to? Thanks

If you look at the attached photo, you'll see that the early Dumbles ran the chassis mounts on the outside of the chassis. However, Natchanis doesn't inset the sides enough to do that so you'll have to run them on the inside. I have mine about an inch from the front and back and drilled as close to the side as possible. That means you'll have to mount the FET board a little differently and the bias and relay rectifier boards will need 1/4" spacers to clear the screws.
