Anyone here try building a Leslie cab with the upper horn? I think a 3D printer could be used to form the horn assy, platform, pullys and such. Several replicated lower units with the drum are out there, but we all know the horn is an essential piece of the magic.

You can buy all the parts original at replacement values not vintage overblown idiocy.

Not many resources but lots of parts out there.

I was hoping to build one with a downfiring 10" Nd woofer and a shorter horn extension for a.smaller overall footprint and lower weight.

You need to see my model 25. It is a 122 in a 25 cab. I think it cut 14" off the height. Shorty! Half as tall as the 147.

I have been on the lookout for a basket case Leslie upper parts to make a top horn module for my 125, but not much has shown up in my area.
