I was wondering if anyone had some basic dimensions of the Bruno 2X12 cabinet. Everyone talks about how great these cabinets are.

And If you have one pics would be great.

I owned one.....a 2x12" cab-open back. Really nothing extraordinary
about the cabinet....well made, very good plywood covered neatly and
nice and clean. IMHO What makes the cabinet great is the Vox Alnico Blues he uses. They are really good speakers and reveal alot of tone.

I think Bob Fusco makes the cabs. Things might have changed.

The best sounding 2x12 I have used is the DR Z open back. I have that and 2 z wreck cabs but the regular open back just is bigger and deeper sounding. Maybe the speakers are broken in because the only difference is the regular back vs oval on he wreck. Z uses lens technology and I believe in that!

The other great sounding cab is the two rock open back.

Both are great.

What are you referring to by "lens technology" I know what that term means when applied to High frequency horns( as well as some midrange cone loaded lenses)..but?

Dr Z uses a double thick speaker baffle. 2 pcs of 3/4" ply instead of one. I think he does this on pretty much all his cabs including combo cabs.

Well, I can understand that. The 1 1/2" thickness will be very stiff and non-resonant. I would hardly call it a lens, though. ...and IMHO with guitar cabs we might want a little resonance from the cab...thats why old fenders with their thin baffles and pine walls sound so nice(as long as they are not cracked...lol)
