I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on how to cut beading channels on cabs?

I'm not sure what you want.

Do you mean banding?

If you need to cut a groove or channel its dpne with a router, or if you are old school, with a hand plane.

In either case you clamp a piece of wood as a guide for the edge of the tool.

That makes sense. I'm pretty new to cab/amp finishing so trying to get a good handle on the different techniques.

For interest's sake I have attached a photo of my first refurb.

If anyone has some good how-to sites it would be appreciated.

It works well to cut a 1/8" deep groove with a full kerf table saw blade. Or if the cabinet is large, use a router with an 1/8" straight bit, 1/8" deep

I wouldn't recommend doing it if you are doing a recover but it is entirely possible, I've done it many times. Any stick from glue residue is not safe for a table saw,
so make sure surface is clean and smooth!
