Anybody ever try a 10" speaker and a 12 inch together in a cab,I imagine you could get some nice highs and mids working together.play around with the height and depth of the box and it would be a cool sound,I know one guy that had one from Diaz amp but I can't really remember how it sounded,Mikey

Use to own this Gibson GA-50T. A 12 and an 8. That was a wonderful sounding combo that should still be here, but ain't. This was a pic from the day I got it - someone had put 6V6 tubes in it because they fit............

I've built several for my amps. With shared and sealed air compartments
Depending on the speakers some compliment some cancel out or accent frequencies while blending. Again it's all subjective to the listener.

Just be sure if you use two different speakers, if they are different makes or styles, that the polarity or phase is the same for both.
The old nine volt battery trick is the key here, make sure both cones move forward when the battery is connected to each speaker.
Some say that the phasing of the speakers is also important.
So that the cones move out on attack.
The EV speaker line seems to be differ here for some reason.
