I've been digging a Swamp Thang lately. Sounds good with a 5E3 or a 4 x 6L6 amp for me. Has a big bump at 3 - 4K like a 12L and handles 150w.

Maybe you should pull two of the output tubes and get her down to 50 watts. That would open up a whole range of possibilities for different speakers. And don't forget to half the OHM selector!

I put a ceramic Weber Californian in a guy's amp recently. It was the middle weight VC cover. It's a nice speaker.
