Dumble style 2x10" cabinet

I was curious about a 2 x 10' Dumble style cabinet; oval port on the rear panel. I was wondering if anyone had seen/built/heard one before. I have a handful of 10's lying around and thought it might be an alternative to my killer sounding, back breaking 2x12" cabinet....

I guess that would be "no". I wonder how a single 10" in an oval back cabinet would compare to a 12"?

Maybe you should try one of those pine wood Dumble style cabs on ebay to lighten the load. You could use 10" speakers too by using those 12" to 10" ring adapters.

I own a 2x10 cabinet from Dumble. I ordered it together with my Ultraphonix Bandmaster.

Very cool. Would you mind sharing some details, even photos, with us? I'm curious as to how his design is modified for smaller diameter speakers. Oval back vs sealed vs ported?

Thanks for the pic! Looks to me like a downsized 2x12.
If ya ever get a tape measure in the same room as that cabinet, please let us know.
