Peavey Scorpion

Post by statorvane »

Thinking of building an AX84 SEL for my son in a combo cab; something he can grab & go instead of hauling his JCM800 clone and 4 x 12". I was thinking of a 2 x 10" combo then ran across this today http://binghamton.craigslist.org/msg/3855001384.html. Anybody have an opinion on this speaker? The SEL runs around 15 watts, single ended.

Thanks in advance.

Will probably be a great sound...at low volume. Great for practicing by yourself. But I wouldn't choose it for a good guitar-competes-with-drummer speaker. Plus it's freakin' heavy.
I build and repair tube amps. http://amps.monkeymatic.com
