Vox chassis available

Post by Mark »

I checked out some chassis built by SpeedyBob60 (eBay seller). He makes great chassis and I was surprised at the range and variation he makes. There are AC-10, AC-15, AC-30/6 non top boost, top boost chassis, a small add on chassis to allow fitment of a EF-86 and of course an AC-30 top boost chassis.

He had built amps from these chassis and they are top notch. I'm quite impressed and I recommend these chassis.

Oh yeah he also does great blackface Bassman chassis too.
Yours Sincerely

This should do the trick, Rob impressed me with the work he has done to get the vintage Vox sound.

Rob is seriously thinking of getting out of making chassis as there isn't enough interest. He makes such a good product it would be a real shame.

I'll be getting two chassis and I intend to make one with Haddon transformer set and the other with the Albion or Woden set.

I was chatting with Steve, and he told me that soon he will be able to offer AC30/4 (4 holer) faceplates, AC15 chassis and Top Boost Unit kit on top of the JMI era VOX goodies he offers now - wicked!

Ron in Sydney is already doing that and more, I think postage is probably the greatest decider.

I'll try and get more photos next time I see Rob.
