I may have asked this question some time ago with no answer.
The Sandy photo is mentioned in the BOM as an O ring around all sockets as shock absorbers. Is this the Typical EF86 O ring set up?
Could someone please PM me the photo.

That is a hi-fi rip-off imho. I know a bit about elastomers and viton is relatively expensive compared to most elastomers, but it's not gold!

Re: Sandy Photo O rings
Hmm.. I was under the impression it was a tube socket ring or piece of rubber the socket sits on then mounted to the chassis as per the statement on the BOM. I think ive seen something like that for a tubedepot kit. Not tube rings.
Have you guys seen the Sandy photo to confirm its just a tube ring dampener?

Re: Sandy Photo O rings
The BOM is most definitely talking orings bought from Sandy Photos not tube socket shock mounting hardware.
There have been many posts in the past years about the subject of rubber mounting the tube socket to dampen from vibration.
