2 hole liveepool hiss

My Liverpool 15watt has way to much hiss. Basic sound is fine theres no hum voltages are good but the his is bad. Mark

Hey Mark,
Is the hiss source the first gain stage?
The ground reference 1 Meg resistor can be a hiss maker.
Also grid stoppers & plate resistors.
Higher than necessary wattage & low noise varieties help.
