Started New Express build

Guys keep saying they're going to record this amp but it never happens, I'll keep pushing, maybe there waiting for spring.

Put a 12AT7 in the PI position and had no problems with the presonance squeal?

Ran my pedal board in front of the Express today and with gain up the pedal board effects load up to much. Turned the gain way down and MV up then the reverb and pedals worked fine.

I prefer the amp with no effects but a great gain pedal is the Wampler Tweed 57 with this Express. This pedal has a naturally darker tone so that goes well with the Express or my Express should I say. Might have to pair this with my Reverb Rocket head for a wet/dry rig.

Miles I would have to go back to my build instructions from Martin to see what was used. I followed the nice layout Martin provided. But if changing to a 12AT7 PI tube does the trick then I'm done modding

Not done horsing around with this amp though.
