Re: a twreck build started - questions
It looks like you got your pilot lamp wired to 120v on the power switch. That style lamp usually runs at 6.3v from the heater winding.

hmm thanks manUR12 wrote:It looks like you got your pilot lamp wired to 120v on the power switch. That style lamp usually runs at 6.3v from the heater winding.
would it be ok to wire the lamp to v4's heater connections instead of v5's heater connections?

Re: a twreck build started - questions
It shouldn't matter as long as it's 6.3v.
Re: a twreck build started - questions
since the chassis was already drilled for a fender type lamp i used it - wired it to V4's heater connection.
getting closer.

You should be firing that thing up pretty soon at this rate!

Re: a twreck build started - questions
finished up the mainboard pretty much -
have to find some 1.5k 2watt resistors for the grids of output tubes and then onto the power supply.
whats the resistor on the power switch i see in the franbcesca pictures but not in the layout?

Re: a twreck build started - questions
will 1watt carbon film work for the 1.5k grid resistors needed?
