Hey you've got my problem! given rarity and prices you've gotta build one just to get to play it. Welcome aboard.
Hey, I'm currently building the first all DC coupled amp. From the first stage to the P1. Totally custom design. After that though, I will build a Wreck just to put my money where my mouth is and have something to compare future amps to. Look forward to hanging around. Hell, this thread has had over 500 hits so far. Never had that happen before.

Sounds like a CarlB inspired amp. I have to admit the Melissa clip I heard (with an acoustic) had the best cleans I can recall.

The Melissa is on my to build list too. Great amp. It's like a modeling amp and can do a variety of tones. DC coupling is just moving beyond a single DC coupled stage. The new one produces a square wave at the second gain stage and alters the output of the P1 which causes some additional overlap between the P1 signal and adds additional distortion. Something I suspect the Wreck does.

The heaters are not DC but I don't get any 60hz hum from them. Your saying DC heaters will reduce buzzyness? What about ultra fast diodes in the power section. I've heard they reduce it?

sorry, the other pages clips u sent us to, guy was complaining about buzz. i inadvertently responded to that issue.
no, DC heaters wont get of buzziness. add about 100 volts to the plate supply, will help.
