The "Powder Keg" mini Liverpool build

Post by RJ Guitars »

Thanks for all the help in learning about building and recording amps... If I live another 150 years maybe I'll begin to grasp it all.

In the meantime, I've been getting ready to go down to Tempe for Guitar Show in March -- http://www.tempeguitarshow.com/ -- I've been trying to package up each of my prototypes and various offerings and the little Liverpool build has become one of my favorites. Attached is an image of what it looks like these days.

I went through several speakers before I settled on the Celestion. It's hard to get as much low end as I'd like to have but it's a small open back cabinet and I'm trading the portability for that ultimate tone I get with a full sized cabinet.

Great combo RJ!

small amplifiers always look a charm to me, and you can always plug it into a bigger cab if you need.

This build is really a masterpiece of miniaturization!
Small, but still looking as a big amplifier,
if you're not bored yet I always wan't to hear a new sound-sample or video.
