Re: Asteroid Layout
Thank You for your excellent drawings, and for the name you gave the circuit...I think it sounds better than the old name, and if you don't mind, when I do my project, I want to call it an "Asteroid"
Re: Asteroid Layout
My pleasure. Since an Asteroid is Killer, it seems to fit the amp.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Re: Asteroid Layout
Barry I have to say thank's again for your time in making those layouts. You and Allyn(Allynmey) Have done much to help me & I'm sure alot here. Thank you, Chad
Re: Asteroid Layout
Chad,
I was glad to do it. Without Allyn's hard work and sharing this would not have been possible. He's the man!
ChrisGS,
you know for the name I originally thought "Space Rock 60" would have been a good one.
With Rock of course having double meaning.

Re: Asteroid Layout
how difficult would it be to make this into a 2xel84 amp?
Re: Asteroid Layout
Slap in some yellow jacket converters? I intend to do just that as soon as my amp is completed and see what happens to the tone.

Re: Asteroid Layout
I'm glad I ran prints.
Re: Asteroid Layout
Sorry fellows, I was trying to upload an all in one pdf last night and screwed it up. I put the original files back up for now. The new file will also have the schematic when I get it fixed.

Well, revisiting the tread I see all the jpg's! I'm gonna copy them now before I loose them again.
Re: Asteroid Layout
Say, are the chassis dimensions the same as a Trainwreck chassis? Thanks.

Re: Asteroid Layout
Not to switch gears here but do you have any Constellation info?
Re: Asteroid Layout
Not yet, but I'm working on it. Beaumont Texas huh? I'm from Galveston. I remember doing a scavenger hunt for a local radio station contest that was giving away a motorcycle back in 1971. A Beaumont phone book was one of the items needed and I ended up picking up a bunch of items there, even an "I like Ike" Button.
