here is the way i look at it. the people on this board are amp builders/cloners. the majority isnt going to think that any amp is worth $3600 because they can build it for cheaper. (all that extra stuff a real company pays for rent, advertising, food on their table, etc. doesnt get factored in to their amp price. they are looking at the $1k or less it takes to source parts as the "worth" of an amp. so why would any amp be worth more.
i think the komet is cheap. for me, if i was to build an komet, and had to source parts, and pay myself my hourly rate X the number of hours it takes me to build an amp. and im easily in for the price of one new if not more. so its actually Cheaper for me to buy one than build one. I just want to build amps for fun.
