I added a thread to the Trainwreck files section that includes what I have regarding layouts and schematics. Hope this helps.

Hello to all of you, TW addicted :-)
It's my first post here, on this very interesting forum, and helpfull of course. I own Ceriatone TW express, my new beast.

I'll build Airbrake rheostat less version.
Would someone, pls, post a Mouser code for that 25W 8 ohm resistor.

Thanks in advance in regards

So on the layout in the above linked thread, if one were to want variable load impedances, could a selection of of 25W resistors be used and switched (4 ohm, 8 ohm, 16 ohm, etc.)?

Not sure if anyone's spotted this in the press recently, but it appears that Dr Z has taken up the mantle...

Betcha it still costs a bomb though ;-)

Dr Z has had the brake light for a while now and the pricing is
$169 or $149 when preinstalled in a combo amp.

Sorry people if I disturb discussion...
I'd like to order Airbrake parts BOM for rheostat less (to Mouser), but estimated leadtime for adjustable resistor 25ohm/100W is 8-10 weeks.

I'm from EU, did/do you experience the same leadtime in USA?
Any sugestion or info appreciated.
Did anyone find European supplier maybe?

regards

That Lorlin switch is only rated 150 mA. Isn't that a problem?
