This is the Toastormaster Airbrake

Rheostat version. Taking the toaster apart and adding the brake parts takes some time.
But,
It looks good and works fine.
Nice conversation piece.
Parts and other kits available.

Makes me wonder... What's the resistance of the toaster heater elements?

I like it. My wife is due for a new toaster. ;)

 If I recall correctly, that was the basis for the infamous original Sholtz Power Soak (resistance wire vs. physical resistors).

That'll go well with my 'breadmaker amp' ;-)

makes the bread, attenuate toast it, set it on the amp with cheese, ....and poof grilled cheese....

The Toastormaster warms bagels too!

Post by WILLIAMEON »

After you get cooking on your guitar for a while put a bagel on top of
The Toastormaster,
play voodoo child,
spread the cream cheese and then eat a warm bagel.
Inside it has the regular rheostat, 6 way, 2 x 100 watt resistor setup.
Two speaker outs are on the back.
Now you can play and cook at the same time.
Just kidding.
My friend said he dreampt that I made one out of a toaster so I thought I would ablidge him.
He, myself and everyone else has gotten a kick out of it.

Soon I will be blasting off a Rocket.

Keep up the good works!

I just love it. I can imagine working a small club and the comments that might bring up. The drunker sorts are gonna just sit and wonder.
