Hi all I was just checking out the sounds page of Komet amps The constellation seems to have more range than the Komet. Does anyone here own one?

I dont know if that is really true..ive had a Connie and a KF50LTD --since downscaled to just my 55 Deluxe and 63 AC30 though--, a friend has all 3, Connie, K60, and KF50LTD. They were all sorta different but i wouldnt say one was more versatile than the others. Except for the fact the Connie has a footswitch to go from 6SN7 to both 6SN7 and 12ax7..cool feature but it doesnt take much volume before the 6SN7 alone channel starts to distort so the cleans at volume are very limited. Still cool amp. I think of the 3 the Connie is probably most Express-like in its ability to feed back quickly. But I love the K60's tone too..a little "browner" I think ..would be a toss up..id personally go with which ever one i got the best deal on really. KF50LTD was great too but is a very cost prohibitive amp..until the regular tolex production version comes out.

I played one into 2 '62ish celestion blue's in a wonderfull 62 AC30. Fantastic crunch. I liked the Vox better, but both respond to guitar volume very well. Prolly sound best with a close 2x12 or 4x12.
