One of the beautful things about Trainwrecks and their siblings is the ability to cut through the mix in a live gig situation. If you have had the chance to hear them in person you know the drill.
Clean to scream with minimal pedal push clarity in the sonic pallette ect...
How many of you builders gig with your builds and do you have tape?
Wrecks go to tape rather well.
Players who push their chops to the limit really appreciate the unstable stability of a Wreck (if you will)
CB, UR12's Junkyard 'Wreck is on tour with American Minor right now. If you go see them, you can hear it. He also made some clips of them live with the 'wreck. It sounds fantastic. Maybe Dana will post the clips here.

They just picked up a few tentavive gigs opening for Foghat and the Allman Bros. Richie and I are going to try to go to the Charlotte NC show with the Allman Bros. on Aug 20th. Bud is using one of Richie's 18watt 2 x 12 combos for his rhythm and distortion and switching to the Wreck for his leads. It's a great sounding combination. I think the Liverpool would be a good substitute for the 18Watt.
They did do a show recently that was recorded..i think its on one of those ipod things.. i don't know if Dana got that one or not. It was like 45min i believe. It should have the Junkyard on that recording.. i believe it would have been a live show. If anyone can get that..i'd like to hear it myself..

Just scroll down on the page and download #43. You may also have to download Itunes (also available on that site) if you don't already have it.""""
Yes it will be good to see them open for the Allman brothers..since warren haynes is playing those shows with the Allmans.. i don't know if Derrick Trucks is also playing or not,i'll have to look on that one.

Well, my band's not opening for the Allmans (congratulations, Richie, that's very cool!), but my Express type has been my main amp since late 2003. I remember taking it to a few rehearsals when it was but a bare chassis on a piece of cardboard.
Here's a song from rehearsal a few weeks ago. It doesn't have much volume knob twiddling and there's some Foxx Tone Machine added here and there.
I wish I was able to get up to NH to see AM at Marks. Oh well, next time.
And no, I don't gig. I jam on occasion with a few guys, we're getting really good at belting out 8675309 and 2 Tickets to Paradise . Unfortunately my clone would be too loud in this setting.
