Thanks

Re: Trem-Rocket anyone????
Does anybody know if the trem controls were internal trimmers in the Trem-rocket? I had a look at the offical trainwreck site and there is a picture of the amp,but it has the normal 4 knobs ................not 5 or 6. Maybe there on the back of the chassis?
any ideas???

Dear Chris
I haven't even seen a picture of one of these amps. I think that you'd need to see the rear shot to know what is going on in the back of the amp.
There has to some controls on the rear of the amp, such as speed at very least, not to mention turning the effect on and off.
I suppose the real question is what trem circuits do you prefer?
I read from time to time that people at the WeberVST board talk about their favourite Fender trem circuit.
(This is from memory now.) The other factor is of course did K.F. use extra tubes or use the Fender type circuit that uses one triode for the oscillator and works on the bias supply?
Again, I can't really answer this one.

Trem Rocket
The Matchless Hurricane used a bias vary trem with 1/2 12ax7 that sounds very nice. The unused 1/2 triode from stage one could be used for this oscillator. I've used this circuit in AC30 clones and it works great. The schematic is floating around on the net... HTH.

Thanks for the reply Mike.
After writing this post, I was thinking how was it that I didn't even consider the tremolo circuit used in the 18 watt Marshall amps.
That too could also be quite effective.
