I recently sent Allyn a message about which cords and strain relief he uses so I can go that route in another build. Need part numbers as my eyes went crazy looking through the catalogs.

Share the info when you get it. It's a problem without a solution so far as I know. The punched hole is too small even for any #16 cord I know of. Or #18 for that matter. At least with the strain relief devices that Mouser sells. I think.

I did check on those square IEC sockets with that pop in the chassis using the side tabs but at the time was not sure how thick the chassis was and decided to scratch that idea, but might use it for other testing project boxes. I see that is what Ted Weber is using on his bulb limiter.

I've ordered these to check out, specs say they will fit. Available direct from Schurter e-store, but with $10+ dollar shipping, get your fuse holders there too I guess. I'll post a pic when they're mounted. The part is black in spite of the picture, I understand.

41 mm tall, mounting holes 32 mm on center & 30 mm total width

...couldn't find then at Newark or Allied, they're a new part. Didn't check Mouser or Digikey, got lazy....
