I built a little single ended 5F1 based design and did my mechanical layout using knowledge learned from this forum. Also, I wanted to see how Sozo handwound caps sounded (a big thumbs up). Plus, I used a grounding scheme based on principles learned from Paul Rubys post. I ended up with a little amp that has a great clean tone and killer lead tone. I'll try to get some clips up soon.

Teleamp, looks Great! I like the wood front. I did the same thing to my 18 watt liteIIb and it looks cool. I like you, chose not to put anything on the faceplate. "I guess if you have to ask, you shouldn't be playing it"

Dear Teleamp
What signal caps did you experiment with before settling on the Sozo's?
I have a couple at home that I could use in my Champ style amp.
Interesting!

Mark, I have tried Orange drop 716 series, Mallory 150s', and Jensen oil in paper. The Sozo caps do sound better (IMHO), they did have to break in as mentioned on their website (less than a day of playing). They seem pretty transparent, and the amp is not dark at all. With an old Phillips EL34 biased at 42ma it screams.
Also, with all my preamp grounds at the input jack, I have eliminated the 1meg resistor.
