Hi!
Anyone ever heard of teardrop amps?
Found this clips on youtube by chance.
It says that the amp has two channels, one is wreck, one dumble.
I can't imagine how this could work, but the result is quite impressive imho.
Cheers.

Re: Wreck meets Dumble
Where's the 'meets Dumble'? I don't hear anything Dumbly about any of those clips. And IMO that amp isn't even the greatest Trainwreck tone either (accounting for the echo-y recording)...in a room like that I would expect a good 'Wreck (or clone) to sing like a bird. Not trying to bash the guy...he's got way more balls than me to post a youtube video...but I guess I just don't hear much on those clips to get worked up over.
Anytime I hear 'Dumble meets Trainwreck' or 'Trainwreck meets Dumble' a red flag goes up. They are just about polar opposites and would be a huge compromise for one or both.

Hi
I own a Teardrop amp
It's build by a amp builder in The Netherlands.
It's a very nice amp; mine is a 2/3 channel amp (second channel has a switchable second gain setting)
The amp is more or less based on a Trainwreck and a Dumble.
The first channel is based on a Trainwreck (don't know which model)
It's been customized to I have less gain on this channel
The second channel is based on a Dumble.
It doesn't have the switches a Dumble has. It has a gain pot which makes the character of the drive , drive, volume, bass and treble .
The first gain pots makes the character. If you keep it low the distortion is 'thin', when you increase the gain the distorted sounds fatter. The drive is amount om drive.
You can make a lot of different distorted sounds with this amp; from a 'thin' sharp distortion to a very fat slightly distorted bluesy sound.
I love this amp.
regards

you can turn a 50w el34 dumble up all the way on the master and when the pre volume reaches over 7/10 it will get an expressy tone without the od on. thats where tw meets dumble.
