Who can supply me a head cab ?

Post by Rob Livesey »

Hi Chaps,

After not rushing around trying to sort out this amp, the rock band we've been talking about resurrecting is happening all of a sudden. I need to sort out the amp pretty soon.

I've got one of those lovely laser engraved panels on the way (thanks Eric).

Who can supply me a head cab to fit a Ceriatone Expression chassis? I'm prepared to pay the right price for something special plus the shipping.

Any help much appreciated,

Cheers,
Rob.

Hi,

I'd have to measure it but I think it's standard Express size.

Ritchie has got back to me since I posted and he's trying to work something out for me. Those cabs he does look fabulous. I'm keeping my fingers crossed :D

Cheers,
Rob.

Michael Gaines. You'll need to give him the exact dimensions needed and ask him to hunt down the wood.

Or, how did you forget Eric out there in New England? He made these two for me and the fit was great. He has recently increased the depth to 10" overall which is the way to go. Yeah, I like blond but he has other colors, too. Very reasonable in price, I think.

Eric, are you out there?

Don't forget about Larry Mann (Distortion). He makes some the most gorgeous head cabs around. distortions@comcast.net

Jim Weyandt in OH built me these. They were not cheap, but they look awesome! I had a local artist do the wood burning for me. I then cracked not one but both faceplates on assembly, but with a little glue and the fudge washers it doesn't bother me. The front panels were way too pretty to redo.

I'd be happy to build more tolex Wreck head cabs for anyone who wants them. I've been busy building some very nice Dumble heads. DumbleClones in tolex fly right out of here. Wrecks in tolex aren't as popular. I'm sticking with tolex, I prefer to offer a product that's durable and affordable.
