Can you bias the express from the bias point with just a meter.

You can read your negative bias voltage there, but not your current draw.

In the Trainwreck pages Ken says its better to use the voltage method rather than the current draw method for the express. I ask b/c this would be a much easier way to bias.

Well, it that's the way you want to do it you're all set then. Set it at -32v and go for it.

I think Ken's point was to allow swapping 6V6 and EL34 without re-biasing...Setting to that voltage is a compromise for either tube but safe for both. To get the best tone, use a method that measures current unless you plan to swap in the 6V6s without adjustment. HTH
