New Pacific Transformers

Post by wpaulvogel »

Just got in my 4 sets of transformers for the 1/2 power 18 watt Liverpool builds. 260-0-260 unloaded and 200 mA, 6.3@6 A power.

20 watt 11K plate to plate 4,8&16 ohm output.
Ready to start building.

11K sounds a little high no?

I was mistaken. After checking turns ratio, they are 10.5k. Not much of a difference though. I am going after the screen current compression like the Express with 6.6k. Also I was thinking that the Liverpool was 5.2k with 4 EL84, so 2 EL84 would need 10.4k.
