Hm... seen this? Would Jeff Jones please step forward..
While visiting a (small) guitar and amp show here at home in Portland the other day, I picked up a mag called 'Collectable Guitar Then and Now', September/October 2015 issue. On page 29 is an ad for 'Token' amps' and in the ad you see a head and combo in cherry wood with a logo that cops the 'Trainwreck' coloring (white on black) and the extended T, as well. At first glance it looks like a Trainwreck amp. Not sure what the Fischer family thinks of this, ha. Here:

So the builder's name is Jeff Jones and apparently he works in a pawnshop somewhere in Indiana. He must be a regular here, anybody know his handle?

He goes by Jeff12. He has posted here a lot in the last but has been in absentia of late. Warren Haynes was playing one of his amps.

What is the point? Is it just for information?
Electronic equipment is designed using facts and mathematics, not opinion and dogma.

It's not often that I open a national guitar magazine to see an ad and story featuring an amp with a logo and head case like this. Frankly, I thought things like this were sold off the radar at best, due to the pressure from Ken's family and it's biz.
I guess it is telling me that the marketplace has changed. And yes, I like to stay informed but also curious if I have ever run into Jeff on the forum.

No Problem Found
I would not be confused by the logo. I sometimes am amazed at the knock off similarities of various products when passing through Walmart... If that's the legal standard there can be no "claim of Trade Mark infringement" by the Fishers et al. But that wouldn't stop an attorney from accepting a $3000. retainer to mail a letter.
