I scored yesterday with a purchase of a new in box grey stancor A-3801 for $60!!! Now a few more bits and pieces and an Express may be in the future.

I'm not a purist, but I've heard the iron is the heart of an Express. I have the vintage orange drops as well :)

I can barely build cables without hurting myself. I am going to contract the build to a local builder more than likely with some of the parts to ensure a decent amp :)
