Hi Guys,
Finished my Express build 3 months ago!! I believe she (caryn) has burned in and settled. This amp is totally stock (rj parts kit with MM iron). There is however, a 47pf ceramic in parrellel with the .002uf orange drop and a VVR over entire circuit.
Amp was set to 12 o' clock on everything except the VVR was turned down to 10 o' clock (bedroom levels. clip was done a night!). You can even hear the amp hiss level!! Playing through a 2x12 fender clossed back with V30 and G12m 65 creamback.
Used an iPhone to record. Please excuse the playing. I was deliberately trying not to "over play". Clip demonstrates the touch sensitivty of these amps. Can do the clean to mean thing, with only the pic attack. I will do a another clip with the VVR out of circuit and post. Then I can demonstrate the mean side of her.!!
See youtube clip below
Coments please. You can be brutal, I can take it!

Sorry posted wrong clip
Thanks Andre, I love the clean sounds you are getting with this setup. A well built Express can have an amazing clean tone. Sometimes this gets lost in all the fun of blistering the paint off the walls as you push the amp hard.
