Hey Mark, looks nice!

I'm considering a 2XEL84 build and I like your OD stage. If their gains were set close to the same is there a big difference in the output when you switch between OD & clean? Just wondering if the divider brings them close to a similar range.

Not my .pdf I probably got it from a TAG post.

I have not tried this gain circuit so no experience but I would guess that their is quite a difference between the two requiring one to bear with the switching effects or turn the guitar down some when engaging.

Also, add the bypass cap switching as a mild gain boost on V1b that really is a good way to get more out of a stock Rocket.

+1 Mark.
I have a Rocket 2/4 6V6 build, and it's sweet but kind of anemic without the V1b cathode bypass. It comes alive with that.
I also added another gain stage with the --gasp!--unused triode, and that works but does make it a different animal.
V1b bypass is the trick.
